# What is Klarna and how do I use it?

Klarna is a payment option that lets you split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments.

To use it, add items to your cart and select Klarna at checkout. Your total will be divided into 4 equal payments. The first is due when your order ships, and the remaining three are automatically charged to your card every two weeks.

  
**In order to purchase using Klarna, you will need:**

*    A U.S. credit or debit card 
*   To be 18 years of age or older 
*   An SMS-capable phone number 
*   A U.S. residential address

Please note: At this time, your order **cannot** be placed over the phone.

**Klarna cannot be used for:**

*   Goldbelly gift cards
*   Monthly or annual recurring subscriptions
*   Orders split across multiple cards
*   Orders over $1,000.00 or under $10.00
*   Corporate Gifting Orders

**Accepted cards & payment options:** Klarna accepts all major credit and debit cards — Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, and Discover. Prepaid cards are not accepted.

You can apply a promo code, gift card, store credit, or Goldbelly Rewards Points to reduce your order total first. Klarna will then be available as a payment option for the remaining balance, alongside PayPal and credit/debit card.
