Any changes to the total order amount can impact the Klarna Payment Schedule in multiple ways based on the status of the payment, how much was paid and whether or not the refund was a full or partial.
A Full Refund will cancel any remaining payments and the amount that the customer has already paid will be refunded back to the original payment method.
If the Partial Refund is greater than the remaining balance of your order, the refund amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance and the difference will be credited to the original payment method.
If the Partial Refund is less than the remaining balance of your order, the amount will be deducted from the outstanding balance and spread evenly across the remaining payments. You can view any updates to your payment plan under My Klarna.
Please reach out to Klarna’s customer service team in the Klarna app or at klarna.com for any additional support.
Will I still get charged by Klarna if my order gets cancelled?
Once you have confirmed your cancellation with our Customer Experience Team, Klarna will update your payments accordingly. You are able to check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app. Refund processing times varies and can take up to 14 days depending on your financial institution. If 14 days have passed since the issue of credit and you are still missing your refund please reach out to Klarna’s customer service team in the Klarna app or at klarna.com for any additional support.
