It is the sole responsibility of the customer to notify a gift recipient of a pending delivery. During the checkout process, the customer can include the recipient's email, so they can be alerted on when the order is coming.
You [and possibly the recipient] will receive a shipping notification when the gift ships so that you are able to track the package. Please be sure to notify the recipient of their gift when it arrives as FedEx and UPS drivers will only leave the package at a recipient's door, or other secure location such as a mailroom or locker, if the driver believes it is 'safe' and reasonable to do so.
If the recipient is not available to receive the delivery and FedEx determines the delivery location is not ‘safe,’ Goldbelly is not responsible for a damaged product and/or additional shipping fees.
