Carrier Delays
Every order on Goldbelly is made with care — by real makers, in real kitchens, shipped fresh to your door. We do everything we can to make sure it arrives exactly as intended, but once a package is in the hands of FedEx or UPS, some variables are beyond anyone's control. Weather, high package volumes, mechanical issues, and carrier-side delays can occasionally affect delivery. The shipping timelines on our site are our best estimates, not guarantees.

Delivery Times
Delivery windows are set by the carrier, not by us — most packages arrive between 8 am and 10 pm. If you're planning around a specific event or occasion, we recommend scheduling your delivery at least 2 days ahead. Most of our products hold up beautifully in the fridge or freezer, so arriving a little early is never a problem.
During peak seasons and holidays, we may ship your order slightly earlier than planned to help it arrive in the best possible condition. We'll always do what we can to get it there right. Goldbelly reserves the right to schedule the arrival of your order earlier or later than estimated to prevent delays, or based on operational conditions.
Tracking Updates
After your order ships, you'll get a tracking number — though it may take a little while to show movement. Carriers typically scan packages later in the evening on the ship date, so if tracking looks quiet early on, that's completely normal.
Signature Requirements
Most orders are delivered without requiring a signature. The exception is alcohol — those shipments require an adult signature (21+) at the door. If no one is available to sign, the carrier won't be able to leave the package.
Address Changes & Reroutes
Before you place your order, take a moment to confirm the delivery address — and double-check it in your confirmation email too. If something needs to change, reach out to our team at least 3 days before your order is scheduled to ship. This article is a great place to start.
For address changes requested after an order has shipped, a $21 fee applies and carriers require one business day to process the update, which may delay your delivery window. Goldbelly is not responsible for delays in transit caused by address modification.
A couple of other things worth knowing:
- We ship via UPS and FedEx, so we're unable to deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
- Once an order has shipped or entered fulfillment, it's no longer eligible for returns, refunds, or cancellations.
